Megan is a versatile freelance photojournalist and documentary filmmaker based in Columbia, MO. She specializes in crafting impactful multimedia visual narratives. Her expertise spans a wide range of meaningful subjects, including music and art, community building, agriculture and conservation, politics, and civil rights issues. She has a keen eye for decisive moments, discreetly capturing the intricate lives of those she documents.

Currently, Megan is immersed in the production of her first feature-length documentary, Going Dark, which follows those behind the battle over reproductive rights in Missouri. She also works on other commercial productions and independent documentary projects. When she's not in the field or editing, Megan is working toward earning her master's degree in Photojournalism at the University of Missouri. In her downtime, she finds solace in her garden and her home darkroom.

Megan also serves as True/False Film Festival Doc Team Co-coordinator, where she has volunteered for 8 years, documenting the festival and creating videos throughout the year for Ragtag Film Society.
